How does Mentoring differ from Coaching?
For business expansion to succeed, modern mentorship equals “best practices” and coaching, the client sets the agenda.
Our mentors offer you their knowledge, expertise and advice and by leveraging their experience and skills, guide you in the right direction.
During the mentoring process, we assist you in considering opportunities for your career and business growth. We help you gain confidence, improve your leadership capability and advance your business acumen.
Mentoring is a longer-term process whereas coaching is a short period of time, often a specified number of sessions.
Mentoring is more focused on creating an informal association between yourself and our mentors, whereas coaching follows a more structured and formal approach.
A mentor has first-hand experience of the mentee’s challenges and job role. A business coach, however, does not need to have a hands-on experience of the kind of work that the client is engaged in.
